Post Title: Senior Grants Administrator (Level 07)
Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum (excluding benefits)
Employment Equity Targets:
- 1st Preferred: African Male
- 2nd Preferred: Indian Male / White Male / African Female
Minimum Requirements:
- Senior Certificate plus an NQF Level 6 undergraduate qualification recognised by SAQA
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Grants Administration
- Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license
Duties:
- Conduct verification of grant applications and oversee application approval
- Supervise quality and performance of Grant Administrators and ensure compliance with grant policy
- Process and verify grant applications and supporting documents
- Approve or reject applications
- Evaluate administration quality and advise on improvements
- Manage staff performance and resources
- Ensure adherence to PFMA (Public Finance Management Act) guidelines
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and social grant application standards
- Understanding of the Social Assistance Grant application process (entire value chain)
