Post Title: Advisor – Finance: Audit Support

Contract Duration: 12 Months Fixed-Term

Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, with at least 1 year at a similar level
- Deep understanding of local government finance and the MFMA
- Experience with audit support, Section 71/106 reporting, AG audit outcomes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office (preferably also MS Projects)
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement municipal audit support programmes
- Conduct research and benchmarking for financial improvements
- Provide advice, capacity building, and hands-on municipal support
- Represent municipalities at forums and policy conferences
- Monitor project progress and evaluate programme outcomes
- Uphold governance, compliance, and stakeholder relationships
