Post Title: Maintenance Officer (MR1–MR5)

Salary: R252 855 – R1 111 323 per annum (based on OSD determination)
Centre: Magistrate Office, Piketberg

Requirements:

  • LLB Degree or four-year recognized legal qualification
  • Appropriate post-qualification legal experience (as per applicable MR grade)
  • Knowledge of the Maintenance Act, maintenance system, and family law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Numeracy, computer literacy, and time management
  • Report writing and attention to detail

Duties:

  • Execute duties of a Maintenance Officer as per the Maintenance Act
  • Conduct financial investigations related to maintenance cases
  • Supervise and guide Maintenance Investigators
  • Implement bench orders and court directives
  • Prepare reports and maintain maintenance statistics
