Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6/7 in Social Sciences, Criminology, Policing, or Community Development
  • 3–5 years’ supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Experience in criminal justice sector is an advantage

Duties:

  • Coordinate community safety forums
  • Mobilize communities for crime prevention
  • Develop and implement safety strategies
  • Manage stakeholder relations and intergovernmental cooperation

Post Title: Community Liaison Officer (x8 Posts)

Requirements:

Duties:

  • Conduct oversight visits to SAPS stations
  • Coordinate social crime prevention engagements
  • Support CPF, street committees and community policing
  • Participate in accountability and mobilization activities

Post Title: Assistant Director: Human Resource Management

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6/7 in HR Management or Public Administration
  • 3–5 years’ experience at supervisory level
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of PERSAL and public sector HR policies

Duties:

  • Manage recruitment, leave, and establishment on PERSAL
  • Reconcile personnel data with OD and HR units
  • Ensure correct interface between PERSAL and BAS
  • Maintain employee records and coordinate IOD submissions

Post Title: Assistant Director: Court Watching Brief

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6/7 in Social Sciences, Criminology, Policing, or Community Development
  • 3–5 years’ supervisory experience

  • Background in criminal justice sector preferred

Duties:

  • Monitor SAPS conduct and compliance
  • Evaluate service delivery of specialized police units
  • Attend court to assess case handling
  • Track IPID recommendations and DVA compliance
