Risk Administrator – Key Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with a Certificate (NQF 5) in Risk Management / Office Administration.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a risk, compliance, audit, or governance support role.
- Familiarity with public sector or regulated environments is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Risk Management, Auditing, Compliance, or BCom-related qualifications.
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of risk management principles.
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and King IV.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document version control.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update risk registers and documentation.
- Assist in scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up on risk assessments and workshops.
- Coordinate risk and legal reporting documentation.
- Track litigation and compliance-related processes and timelines.
- Support compliance coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of control evidence and mitigation actions.
- Provide general administrative support including team meeting coordination and document control.
