Available Position
Manager: Supply Chain
Total Annual Package: R1,238,070.81 – R1,454,556.46 (Negotiable)
Purpose: To plan, develop, optimize, organize, manage, and evaluate the supply chain processes within GEP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery.
- Evaluate and implement new supply chain processes.
- Align SCM with business strategies and compliance frameworks.
- Submit SCM reports monthly and manage UIFW registers accurately.
- Coordinate supply chain management with finance, sales, and quality assurance.
- Ensure strict adherence to SCM policies and government regulations.
- Lead and develop the SCM team with strategic oversight and performance management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing Management, or a related field (NQF 7).
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in supply chain management.
- 1–2 years of management experience.
- Experience in government or parastatal environments is essential.
- Valid Code EB driver’s license.
Competencies:
- Strong risk and relationship management.
- Results-driven with integrity and analytical thinking.
- Strategic planning and environmental scanning abilities.
