Requirements:
Education and Experience (Option 1):
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Management (NQF 7)
- 5–7 years’ experience in the Customs environment, including 1 year at supervisory level
- Ports of Entry operations experience is an advantage
Alternate Option:
- Senior Certificate (NQF 4)
- 10 years’ experience in the Customs & Excise environment, with 1 year at supervisory level
- Ports of Entry operations experience is an advantage
Functional Requirements:
- Leadership in Customs border processes
- Compliance with Customs & Excise legislation
- Operational strategy execution
- Resource management in a shift environment
