Post: Deputy Director: ICT Security Specialist

Reference: 2025/49/OCJ
Salary: R849 702 – R1 000 908 per annum (Level 11), all-inclusive package
Centre: National Office, Midrand

Requirements:

  • Matric and a National Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT (NQF 6)
  • Minimum 7 years in ICT Infrastructure Support Management
  • 5 years in ICT Security Operations (Firewall, Identity Management)
  • Valid Firewall or Cybersecurity technical certificate (mandatory)
  • Valid MCSA: Windows Server (2012 or 2016); CISM or equivalent is advantageous
  • Valid driver’s licence

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in Windows Server, Exchange, Fortinet firewalls, DNS/DHCP, malware protection
  • Service-oriented, analytical thinking, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Duties:

  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise security systems
  • Manage externally facing ICT security applications
  • Oversee ICT vulnerability audits and identity governance
  • Supervise internal and external ICT security teams

Post: Assistant Director: Human Resources Practices

Reference: 2025/50/OCJ
Salary: R444 036 – R532 602 per annum (Level 09)
Centre: National Office, Midrand

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 and National Diploma/Degree in HRM or Public Admin (NQF 6)
  • 6 years’ experience in HRM, including 3 years at supervisory level
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • PERSAL certificate in leave and personnel administration
  • Knowledge of HR legislation (e.g., BCEA, LRA, PSA, PILIR, OSD)

Duties:

  • Manage employee benefits (leave, housing, PILIR, COIDA, etc.)
  • Oversee HR policy development, risk registers, audit action plans
  • Approve PERSAL transactions, handle service terminations
  • Manage performance development and recruitment processes
  • Generate HR reports and maintain records
