Theewaterskloof Municipality invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Management Representative: MVR / DLTC / VTC position based in Villiersdorp. This permanent role is ideal for professionals in the transport licensing field who meet the legal and technical qualifications and are ready to supervise and manage a Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Examiner of Driving License Diploma
  • Registered as Examiner of Driving Licenses (Grade A)
  • Valid Code A and EC driver’s license
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience (clearly stated in CV)
  • Valid SAPS Clearance Certificate or proof of application
  • Proficient in 2 of the 3 official languages of the Western Cape (English, Afrikaans, Xhosa)
  • Computer literacy
  • No criminal record

Key Performance Areas:

  • Supervise and control the operations of the DLTC
  • Implement and maintain Quality Control Systems in accordance with the National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996)
  • Maintain test yard and equipment
  • Compile and submit operational reports (weekly, monthly, annual)
  • Investigate and address public complaints
  • Submit statistics to Provincial Department of Transport and Public Works
