Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) / NCV Level 4 or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s licence (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in a technical/maintenance field
  • Written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and equipment repairs
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Basic administration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in unfavourable conditions
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
  • Must undergo a practical assessment

Added Advantage

  • Valid PDP
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Electrical, Aircon, Refrigeration, Plumbing or Carpentry Trade Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Perform semi-skilled maintenance tasks including plumbing, welding, electrical, air-conditioning and refrigeration repairs
  • Maintain tourist facilities, staff accommodation, ablution blocks, administrative buildings and infrastructure
  • Record daily maintenance activities and needs
  • Transport equipment, materials and staff; conduct vehicle inspections
  • Assist with planning and scheduling technical tasks
  • Order stock and assist with supply chain processes
  • Perform basic housekeeping and ad hoc duties
  • Complete administrative records such as inventory, timesheets and reports

Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resources or Payroll (Degree is an added advantage)
  • Accredited training on Sage 300 People system
  • 3–5 years’ experience in payroll administration
  • Experience handling large payroll volumes
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work under tight deadlines

Added Advantage

  • Membership of South African Payroll Association
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on Sage 300 People
  • SARS EMP201, annual and bi-annual submission experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and verify payroll data accuracy
  • Process payroll inputs, deductions, benefits and allowances
  • Ensure compliance with tax legislation and labour regulations
  • Submit monthly EMP201 and annual/bi-annual tax returns
  • Manage payroll audits, reports and variance analysis
  • Supervise payroll officers and resolve payroll queries
  • Update payroll policies, procedures and SOPs

  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Understanding of hygiene, First Aid and safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Clean chalets, ablution blocks, campsites, offices and public areas
  • Maintain hygiene and tourism standards
  • Control and report on inventory and maintenance faults
  • Assist in linen rooms and general camp operations
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
