Logistics Officer

Requirements

  • NQF Level 5 qualification in:
    • Logistics Management
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Transport Management
    • Business/Office Administration
    • Or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management in an operational environment.
  • SAQA evaluation required for foreign qualifications.

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and logistics compliance.
  • Experience with logistics software, CRM systems, and data tools (spreadsheets).
  • Strong documentation, record-keeping, and data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to follow SOPs for stock handling, dispatching, and receiving.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Operational Coordination

  • Maintain accuracy between physical stock and system records.
  • Dispatch orders within required turnaround times.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and rectify stock overwrites.
  • Process inventory adjustments and ensure stock integrity.

Financial & Transactional Control

  • Achieve 100% accuracy in reconciliations for goods received/dispatched.
  • Process supplier returns and credits promptly.
  • Maintain shrinkage below monthly threshold.
  • Ensure full compliance with all documentation requirements.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Full adherence to SOPs and stock handling standards.
  • Report discrepancies, theft, or damage within 24 hours.
  • Maintain audit readiness and uphold HSE standards.

Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Follow up on all orders and delivery dates.
  • Maintain clear daily communication with internal teams.
  • Provide accurate delivery information to staff and customers.

Security Technician x2

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Mandatory Certifications:
    • Adroit Training Certificate
    • CCTV Installer Training Certificate

Incumbent Must Be Willing To:

  • Work on live electrical/security equipment.
  • Work extended hours and travel frequently.
  • Deal with physically demanding and risk-related environments.

Advantageous Skills

  • Server and IP networking knowledge.
  • Skilled in repairing CCTV access systems and electric fencing.
  • SCADA experience.
  • Knowledge of access control, AJAX systems, Hardcat, and network switches.
  • Working at heights and medical fitness.

Technical Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of CCTV, access control, electric fencing, and SCADA systems.
  • Ability to follow maintenance, monitoring, and incident response procedures.
  • Experience with Gallagher access control programming and Abloy systems.
  • Strong documentation and audit-preparation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Tasks

  • Manage and monitor all security and SCADA-related issues.
  • Ensure proper call logging and follow-up via Manage Engine.
  • Conduct inspections and schedule maintenance.
  • Oversee installations, refurbishments, and repairs.
  • Maintain minimum system downtime and ensure safety compliance.
  • Perform SCADA device testing, full system integration, and contractor inspections.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and handle AJAX system installation.

Reporting

  • Compile accurate reports and maintain dashboards.
  • Update maintenance records.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and SANRAL procedures.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
