Post Title: Specialist: Learning & Development

Purpose:

To supervise and facilitate the design and implementation of impactful learning and development strategies and programmes across RAF.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies, training needs analysis, training calendars, and learning solutions.
  • Ensure legislative compliance and alignment with the National Skills Development Strategy.
  • Prepare and submit reports; manage vendor and stakeholder relations.
  • Facilitate assessments, moderation, budgeting, and compliance with WSP and training records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in training and facilitation (2 years in area of expertise).

Competencies:

  • Curriculum development, facilitation, stakeholder relations, project management, service delivery innovation, and training evaluation.

Post Title: Consultant: Verification and Validation (x5)

Purpose:

To verify and validate registered claims in accordance with RAF procedures and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate claims using the RAF Act and case law.
  • Examine duplicates, apply prescription rules, and verify death benefit claims.
  • Maintain quality assurance and update verification records.
  • Document and manage stakeholder communication and generate detailed reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the claims environment.

Competencies:

  • Strong legal knowledge, stakeholder engagement, financial management, client orientation, and excellent decision-making ability.
