The Northern Cape Office of the Premier invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for a range of vacancies across finance, administration, and HIV/AIDS coordination. These positions are aimed at strengthening governance and service delivery in the province. Post Title: Deputy Director: Supply Chain Management

Ref No: DD/SCM/2025
Salary: R896 436 per annum (Level 11, all-inclusive package)
Centre: Kimberley

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 Degree in SCM, Logistics, Purchasing, Financial or Business Management
  • 3 years’ experience at Assistant Director level in SCM/Finance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, LOGIS, BAS, SCOA

Duties:

  • Oversee strategic procurement planning and compliance
  • Manage SCM acquisition frameworks and contract administration
  • Promote efficient movement of goods and transport
  • Compile and submit statutory SCM reports
  • Manage HR and financial operations within the sub-directorate

Post Title: Assistant Director: District Coordinator on AIDS Council Secretariat

Ref No: AD/DCACS/2025
Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 09)
Centre: John Taolo Gaetsewe District

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Public Health, Admin, or Social Sciences
  • 3 years’ experience in M&E, partnerships, and fieldwork
  • Knowledge of HIV strategies, M&E frameworks, database and project management

Duties:

  • Coordinate district-level HIV/AIDS response
  • Mobilise communities and implement communication plans
  • Collate and maintain HIV/AIDS data and programme reports

Post Title: Accounting Clerk: Financial Management

Ref No: AC/FM/2025
Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05)
Centre: Kimberley

Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • No experience required
  • Basic knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and financial systems (PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS)

Duties:

  • Process and verify payment transactions
  • Manage petty cash and issue receipts
  • Capture payments and journals on BAS
  • Maintain financial records and internal controls
