Requirements:
- Senior Certificate plus a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Financial Management, Auditing, Accounting, Property Studies, Town & Regional Planning, or Real Estate
- Nyukela SMS Pre-entry Programme Certificate
- 5 years’ experience at a middle or senior management level
- Valid driver’s license
Knowledge:
- Government Immovable Asset Management Act (GIAMA), North West Land Administration Act
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations
- Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations
- Supply Chain Management and procurement practices
- Understanding of asset and building management legislation
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic capability and leadership

Duties:
- Develop and manage policies for immovable assets
- Maintain the provincial asset register and coordinate property vesting
- Manage proclamations, property payments, and residential lease databases
- Oversee administration of the provincial housing portfolio
- Coordinate tenant verification and residential lease management
- Manage land administration and town planning
- Lead the commercial lease portfolio and explore alternative acquisition strategies
- Oversee human and financial resources within the Directorate
