Post Title: Key Accounts Officer
Overview:
This position is focused on managing and growing strategic client accounts by aligning NMISA’s metrology services with client requirements. The role bridges scientific innovation and customer needs, contributing directly to NMISA’s revenue and service excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (dual technical and business/legal qualification is an advantage)
- At least 5 years’ experience in:
- Key account management
- Client relations or business development
- Preferably in a scientific, technical, or R&D environment
- Track record of working with public/private sector portfolios
- Proven revenue generation and service alignment capabilities
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and CRM skills
- Experience with accredited laboratories or regulated scientific environments is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead contact for strategic clients across sectors
- Understand client needs and align with NMISA’s service offerings
- Develop tailored account strategies for growth and retention
- Coordinate service delivery with internal technical teams
- Monitor client activity and identify new opportunities
- Prepare detailed account performance reports
- Participate in negotiations, presentations, and stakeholder engagements
- Track revenue, manage SLA renewals, and secure new contracts
- Represent NMISA at relevant industry events and forums
- Collaborate with marketing to drive client campaigns
- Maintain and update CRM records
