These contract-based posts offer an opportunity for individuals passionate about firefighting and emergency response to serve communities under the Dr JS Moroka jurisdiction.

Post: Fire Reservist (X3)
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Basic Ambulance Assistance.
- Fire Fighter 1 and 2.
- Hazmat Operations and Awareness.
- Valid registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Valid EC Driver’s License.
- Experience: Not required.
Duties:
- Respond to incidents to provide emergency and related services.
- Perform watch room duties.
- Maintain registers and take corrective actions.
- Complete incident documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as the OHS Act.
- Maintain registration and firefighting skills to perform duties effectively.
