Requirements:
- Qualified Electrical Engineering Artisan
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Physically fit and healthy, capable of manual labour and working at heights/confined spaces
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions and under pressure (e.g. during cable fault restorations)
- Must be able to work overtime and render standby duties
- Must pass a colour blindness test
Special Conditions:
- Own vehicle and valid Code C1 driver’s licence with PDP (locomotion allowance applicable)
- Medical examination required during selection
- Must perform standby duties
Job Purpose:
To supervise the maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical infrastructure (street lighting and overheads)

Salary: R586 008 – R814 716 per annum (Task Grade 13 – basic salary only)
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Surveying or equivalent
- Registered as a Survey Technician
- Computer literacy including CAD and cartographic software
- Two to four years’ relevant post-registration experience
- Valid Code EB driver’s licence
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent report writing and supervisory abilities
- Fluent in English and one other local language
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various surveys including cadastral, deformation, and photo control surveys
- Translate Town Planning layouts and generate survey coordinates
- Supervise and ensure safety compliance of survey staff
- Produce spatial data maps and assist in decision-making processes
Special Conditions:
- Must be physically fit and medically examined as part of the selection process
