Post Title: Forensic Investigator

Division: Internal Audit & Advisory
Salary Scale: Commensurate with experience
Purpose: To support investigations into fraud, misconduct, and financial irregularities within the organisation

Minimum Requirements:

  • B-Degree in Forensic Auditing, Accounting, Auditing, Criminal Law, or LLB (NQF Level 7)
  • Certification as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Forensic Practitioner FP(SA) is advantageous
  • 3–5 years’ experience in forensic investigations, fraud risk, or similar fields
  • Knowledge of legislation, audit practices, and investigation procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct forensic audits and investigations
  • Compile case plans and reports
  • Perform interviews and evidence analysis
  • Support disciplinary/legal proceedings
  • Promote awareness of forensic procedures

Post Title: Forensic Investigation Specialist

Division: Internal Audit & Advisory
Salary Scale: Commensurate with experience
Purpose: To lead and manage high-impact forensic investigations and contribute to NLC’s compliance goals

Minimum Requirements:

  • B-Degree in Forensic Investigation, Auditing, Accounting, or LLB (NQF Level 7)
  • Certification as CFE or Forensic Practitioner FP(SA) – compulsory
  • 5 years’ experience in forensic/fraud investigations, including 2 years at supervisory level
  • Expertise in audit methodology, legislation, and stakeholder collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead forensic investigations and manage co-sourced projects
  • Analyse complex financial records
  • Oversee investigators and reporting
  • Liaise with law enforcement and oversight bodies
  • Improve investigative tools and standards
