Key Responsibilities
- Wash curtains, windows and tablecloths
- Clean offices (sweeping, dusting, polishing and buffing floors, toilets and furniture)
- Empty office dustbins and remove rubbish to outside premises
- Offload groceries to the relevant offices
- Clean event venues and arrange/remove chairs and tables
- Ensure water and glasses are available during events
- Assist with tea making, washing dishes and moving furniture/equipment
- Report breakages and perform other duties as delegated
Cleaners (PL14) – 2 Posts
Directorate: Water & Sanitation Services
Remuneration: R173 311.20 – R194 485.03 per annum (excluding benefits)
Requirements
- Grade 10 or ABET

Key Responsibilities
- Empty and wash office bins
- Tidy and dust offices
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors
- Replace consumable items where necessary
- Check and report defective items to the supervisor
- Monitor cleaning materials and report shortages
