Senior Officer: Strategic Monitoring and Performance Information Reporting

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation (NQF 9), or
  • Master’s Degree in Social Sciences (NQF 9) plus Postgraduate Diploma in M&E (NQF 8), or
  • BCom Internal Audit / Accounting with BCom Honours
  • 3 years research experience (2 years in monitoring and reporting), or
  • Minimum 5 years internal audit experience (3 years at junior management level)
  • Industry experience in performance information audits and advisory environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic evaluations and impact assessments
  • Measure outcome and impact indicators of the HWSETA Strategic Plan
  • Independently manage monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment processes

Labour Market and Sector Skills Planning Researcher

  • Research Master’s Degree (NQF 9) in Statistics, Macro-Economics, Public Health, or Social Sciences
  • Certificate in Labour Market Economics and Statistics (NQF 8)
  • 3 years research experience, including 2 years in macro or large-scale research

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct labour market and sector skills research
  • Contribute to the Sector Skills Plan (SSP)
  • Perform big data analysis using Excel and statistical software
  • Prepare research reports and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology / Labour Relations
  • Honours degree (added advantage)
  • 4–6 years’ experience in HR management or a related environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement HR policies, procedures and compliance frameworks
  • Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and contracts
  • Coordinate training, WSP submissions and employee development
  • Provide employee relations support, performance management and wellness initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and POPIA
