Job Title: Manager – Stakeholder and Intergovernmental Relations (IGR)
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development
- Develop and implement intergovernmental relations (IGR) and stakeholder support strategies.
- Align strategy with national, provincial, and local government housing and human settlement plans.
- Facilitate funding, planning, and coordination protocols with key state partners.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and consultation across government spheres.
- Promote the HDA’s mandate in meetings, forums, and public engagements.
- Draft and conclude intergovernmental implementation protocols.
- Support HDA regional managers in contracting and stakeholder engagement.
3. Relationship Management
- Track and report on performance against IGR agreements.
- Coordinate reporting and information sharing with stakeholders.
- Participate in partner strategic planning and events.
4. Administration
- Provide administrative support to IGR structures and forums.
- Draft IGR implementation reports and presentations.
- Manage the IGR unit’s operational budget.
🔹 Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Governance, or Social Science
- 6–8 years’ experience in intergovernmental relations, contracting, and public sector strategy
- In-depth knowledge of human settlements policy, the built environment, and public governance
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and planning skills
