Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in Financial or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 3 years at Assistant Director or supervisory level.
  • Public sector financial management experience is advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Administration: Manage goods and services purchase orders, track outstanding orders, and generate monthly reports.
  • Financial Administration: Oversee official claims, sundry invoices, S&T, and entertainment claims. Manage NT service payments and reports (e.g., courier services, parking, VAS2).
  • Asset Management: Develop and implement GTAC’s asset management policy and conduct bi-annual asset verifications. Maintain the lease register.
  • Financial Operations Support: Coordinate the financial operating manual, policies, procedures, and file plans. Ensure governance and delegations are in place.
