Purpose:
To ensure that authorised Financial Services Providers (FSPs) and Compliance Officers comply with the FAIS Act and related legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial statements and statutory returns of FSPs
- Identify financial risks and non-compliance
- Perform on-site inspections using risk-based supervision
- Report on industry trends and support regulatory interventions
- Provide expert analysis and assist in ad-hoc regulatory projects
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law or a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in the financial services or compliance sector
- Strong knowledge of FAIS Act, FSR Act, and other financial sector laws
