Manager: Sector Skills Planning and Research (Ref. 1930/30)

Salary: R1 488 671.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)

Minimum Requirements

  • Postgraduate Degree (NQF 8) in Public Administration / Social Science / Education & Training / Economics / Research / Business Administration / Business Management
  • Master’s Degree (NQF 9) in Business Administration/Business Leadership (advantage)
  • At least 8 years’ experience in strategic planning and research, with 5 years at management/supervisory level
  • Strong knowledge of skills development legislation (Skills Development Act, SDA; SDLA; NSDP; NQF Act; SETA Grant Regulations; PFMA; National Treasury Regulations)
  • Advanced quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required

Key Duties

  • Lead and manage SSP and research programmes, including Sector Skills Plan (SSP) and analysis of WSPs/ATRs
  • Manage research planning, commissioning, partnerships, reporting, and data systems
  • Oversee strategic and annual performance planning support, monitoring and reporting deliverables
  • Manage divisional budget, performance, risk, and people management

Supply Chain Management Specialist (Ref. 1930/31)

Salary: R1 045 456.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain / Logistics / Procurement / Purchasing
  • Postgraduate (NQF 8) in SCM-related field (advantage)
  • CIPS membership (advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years SCM experience in procurement/sourcing and contract management, with 3 years at management level in public sector/public entity procurement
  • Strong knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, PPPFA, B-BBEE, and SCM frameworks

Key Duties

  • Oversee demand management, procurement planning and acquisition processes
  • Support bid/quotation processes, provider database, compliance checks and reporting
  • Strengthen SCM performance monitoring and audit support
  • Lead SCM unit activities and stakeholder engagements

Head of Department: Constituency Support (Ref. 1930/32)

Salary: R1 045 456.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Business Management/Administration/Public Management/Project Management
  • Postgraduate (NQF 8) and recognised Project Management certificate (advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the ETD/skills development sector, with 3 years at management level
  • Strong understanding of SETA legislative environment, PFMA, and skills development project implementation
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally

Key Duties

  • Manage implementation and contract management of constituency projects and programmes
  • Establish stakeholder structures, SLAs and reporting systems
  • Drive national forums, workshops, programme monitoring and improvements
  • Lead unit planning, budgeting, performance management and delivery quality

Performance Monitoring and Reporting Administrator x2 (Ref. 1930/33)

Salary: R453 142.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (NQF 4) + National Diploma (NQF 6) in Business Administration/Management or Public Management
  • At least 2 years’ experience in performance monitoring/reporting or M&E administration (public sector preferred)
  • Experience in data extraction, conversion and analysis for reporting
  • Knowledge of DPME/DHET reporting frameworks (advantage)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with database/reporting tools

Key Duties

  • Support monthly/quarterly/annual performance reporting and data verification
  • Maintain M&E databases and evidence filing (POPIA compliant)
  • Provide admin support for workshops, audits, reviews and reporting processes
  • Identify data gaps/errors and support continuous improvements
