Senior Administrative Officer: ICT Support

Ref No: DT 16/2025 • Salary: R397 116 per annum (Level 08, excluding benefits) • Centre: Pretoria
Requirements: NQF 6/7 in Public Administration/Public Management (or relevant NQF 6/7); 1–2 years’ ICT admin support; knowledge of procurement, admin procedures, PFMA, financial & personnel management, business processes; computer literacy; strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder skills; ability to work under pressure and in teams.
Duties: Advise users on ICT trends/SITA contracts; coordinate delivery/redistribution, loans and redundancy of ICT equipment; research and advise on hardware/software; process ICT procurement requests and RFQs in line with standards; evaluate quotations and load full packs on EDMS workflow; manage user account requests/changes/exit actions; coordinate testing of video conferencing; keep SLA records; procure ICT stationery/consumables; provide secretariat & logistical support to D:GITM; manage telephone accounts; administer GITM budget and SITA invoice tracking; petty cash requests; maintain ICT warranties and asset registers; support inventory/asset control with SCM; maintain a redundancy register on EDMS.

Senior State Accountant: Creditors, Travel, Accommodation & Subsistence

Ref No: DT 17/2025 • Salary: R397 116 per annum (Level 08, excluding benefits) • Centre: Pretoria
Requirements: NQF 6/7 in Financial/Management Accounting, Financial Management or Public Administration; 3–5 years’ finance experience; public service training; BAS, LOGIS, PERSAL knowledge; PFMA & Public Service Regulations; strong computer, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure/individually/with teams.
Duties: Verify and authorise T&S advances/claims (domestic & foreign) on BAS/PERSAL; approve foreign trips; process and authorise travel, accommodation, cellphone, project & foreign affairs payments; process general journals; verify cellphone limits; process LOGIS order payments; run and reconcile reports (T&S Advance, Tourvest, DIRCO Advance, Telkom exceptions); check document completeness and allocations; ensure 30-day payment compliance; identify fruitless/wasteful expenditure and escalate; classify expenditure correctly; reconcile travel provider statements, annotate paid items, comment on unpaid items, and share reconciliations with travel officials.

Communications Officer: Media Liaison & Electronic Communication

Buildings & Energy Management Officer
