Post Title: Manager – M-HEQSF Sub-programme
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a national database of qualifications and student achievement.
- Oversee validation and verification of education data.
- Lead submission of achievement data to SAQA for NLRD/NQF-MIS.
- Support SAQA registration-related functions based on HEQC decisions.
- Evaluate institutional HEQSF-related submissions (e.g., RPL, SAQA requests).
- Lead capacity development initiatives and support national collaboration in higher education.
- Represent the CHE in meetings, workshops, and national forums.
- Report, document and ensure quality control for all relevant data and submissions.
- Maintain accurate stakeholder records and ensure compliance with CHE policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree (relevant field) from a recognised higher education institution.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in education management information systems.
- Proven experience in:
- Capacity development programmes
- Project management
- Data analysis, SQL queries, and relational databases
- Business requirements analysis and system enhancement
- Quality assurance and software testing
