Minimum Requirements
- Grade 7 qualification.
- One (1) year cleaning experience.
- Must be capable of carrying out the physical aspects of the position.
Primary Function
To provide an efficient and effective cleaning service for City-owned facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
Key Performance Areas
- Clean and disinfect taxi ranks, Rea Vaya stations, and trading areas.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, floors, and stairs.
- Maintain public convenience facilities, open spaces, and walkways.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly maintained.

- Basic ability to read and write.

- Knowledge and practice of Batho Pele principles and ethics.
- Professionalism and teamwork.
