Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / NQF level 4
- Certificate in Enrolled Nursing (equivalent to NQF level 5)
- Registration with SANC under R2175
- 2 years’ post-enrolment experience as a Staff Nurse
- Minimum 1 year experience in Primary Health Care environment
Primary Function:
Provide comprehensive, scientific, and ethical nursing care within the legal framework. Deliver promotive, preventive, curative, and developmental health services to individuals, families, and communities within the nurse’s scope of practice.

- Provide health care for communicable and non-communicable diseases
- Support professional staff in treatment processes
- Participate in health awareness and education programmes
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Ensure client-focused service delivery
Leading Competencies:
- Computer Literacy (Word & Excel)
- Communication and counselling skills
- Observation and interviewing skills
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of CoJ health practices and procedures
- Basic drug dosage calculations
- Understanding of anatomy, pharmacology, and disease prevention
