Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • 1–2 years’ relevant administrative experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office applications)

Primary Function

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing information received from:

  • The Cluster
  • The Mayoral Committee
  • Section 79 Committees
  • Programming Committee
  • Council

This information must be accurately captured on various systems used within the City of Johannesburg.


Key Performance Areas

The Data Capturer will:

  • Capture information on multiple municipal systems
  • Record MMC Regional Tour issues
  • Follow up on issues requiring LOEB attention
  • Comply with minimum capturing requirements set by management
