Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- National Diploma or Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Management Information Systems
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Valid driver’s licence (minimum Code EB)
- Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Routine Health Information Systems will be an added advantage:
- ART / TIER.NET
- District Health Information System (DHIS)
- Electronic TB Register (ETR / HPRS)
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and data management
- Ability to compile meaningful reports, presentations, and graphical data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Technical knowledge in an IT environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Duties
- Roll out (install) TB/HIV Information Systems and HPRS (ART, TIER.NET) in health facilities
- Conduct training on Routine Health Information Systems (ART, TIER.NET, ETR Web, DHIS, HPRS)
- Provide ongoing technical support to health facilities
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting of health programme data
- Coordinate collection of routine and non-routine data, including surveys
- Populate templates for programme reporting
- Support monitoring and evaluation of district health information
