Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of relevant Acts, policies, and prescripts
  • Knowledge of HR practices in the Public Service
  • PERSAL knowledge (certificate will be an added advantage)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and customer focus
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experiential learning in the HR field will be an added advantage

Duties

  • Support recruitment, selection, and appointment processes
  • Sort, capture, and number applications
  • Plan and arrange logistics for meetings
  • Attend meetings and take minutes
  • Draft submissions, offer letters, and regret letters
  • Facilitate personnel suitability checks
  • Execute PERSAL transactions related to recruitment and service benefits
  • Administer leave applications and benefits
  • Capture and manage employee records and SP files
  • Provide overall administrative support to the HR unit

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate with Accounting as a passed subject
  • Knowledge of clerical duties and data capturing
  • Basic understanding of Public Service financial legislation and Treasury Regulations (PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR, PPPFA, Financial Manual)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal, organisational, and analytical skills

Duties

  • Record, organise, store, capture, and retrieve correspondence and data
  • Maintain registers, statistics, and filing systems
  • Handle routine enquiries and document distribution
  • Assist with procurement processes and obtain quotations
  • Maintain asset and leave registers
  • Establish and maintain compliance filing systems
  • Archive reports, policies, and compliance evidence
  • Maintain audit trails and personnel records
  • Handle petty cash administration
