This is a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Internal Audit and Risk Department. Purpose of the Position

To plan, execute, and report on audits as outlined in the Annual Audit Plan, ensuring that CCMA departments and business units comply with internal policies, legislation, and governance standards. The role also involves supervising Internal Auditors and supporting the implementation of effective ICT audit frameworks.


Key Performance Areas

  • Audit Planning: Develop audit plans and define audit objectives and scopes.
  • Audit Execution: Conduct ICT audits in accordance with internal audit methodologies.
  • Audit Reporting: Prepare audit findings and recommendations.
  • Customer Feedback Coordination: Manage communication and responses from audited units.
  • General Audit Support: Contribute to ongoing risk assessments and process improvements.
  • Team Supervision: Guide and review the work of Internal Auditors.

Key Requirements

  • Qualifications:
    • BCom or National Diploma in Internal Auditing (or equivalent).
    • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, COBIT, CISSP.
    • Membership with IIA and/or ISACA.
    • Additional certifications (e.g., CIA, PIA, CA(SA)) will be advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Practical experience using Data Analytics Software (e.g., ACL).
    • Experience with Audit Software (e.g., BarnOwl).
    • Knowledge of cloud environment audits (Azure, AWS).
    • Proficiency in scripting and data analysis tools (Python, SQL, Power BI, Pandas).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage audit projects and supervise teams.
