1. Senior Admin Officer: Security Management — Ref No: CoGHSTA 37/25

Branch: Corporate Services
Salary: R397 116 per annum (Level 8)
Centre: Polokwane

Requirements:

  • Matric plus an NQF 6 qualification in Security Management, Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigations, or Policing.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s licence (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of MISS, MPSS, PFMA, Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act.
  • Skills: Leadership, communication, vetting, investigation, report writing, policy formulation, and computer literacy.

Duties:

  • Implement MISS/PISP within the department and municipalities.
  • Manage access control systems and vetting procedures.
  • Conduct information and physical security awareness sessions.
  • Supervise private security providers and facilitate MEC’s security support.

Requirements:

  • Matric plus an NQF 6 qualification in Information Technology or related.
  • Minimum 2 years ICT experience.
  • Valid driver’s licence (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of Disaster Management Act, Public Service Act, PFMA, OHS Act.
  • Skills: Research, report writing, communication, financial management, IT systems.

Duties:

  • Maintain disaster management information and communication systems.
  • Train end-users on information management systems.
  • Facilitate early warning and public awareness dissemination.
  • Capture and update disaster management data into the departmental GIS database.
