Assistant Director: Labour Relations — Ref PWI 25/33

Directorate: Legal Services and Labour Relations
Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 9)
Centre: Head Office (Bloemfontein)

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 in Labour Law/Labour Relations (or equivalent).
  • 3–4 years supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver’s licence (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of: labour relations legislation; public service working conditions; CCMA, PSCBC, GPSSBC processes; policy/collective agreement interpretation.
  • Skills: communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, analysis, training, presentation, negotiation, organising, interpersonal; computer literacy.
  • Conduct aligned to Code of Conduct and Batho Pele Principles.

Duties:

  • Assist with development of labour relations policies.
  • Coordinate/conduct misconduct & grievance investigations and advise appropriately.
  • Advise management on LR matters to minimise unfair labour practices.
  • Represent the Department in bilaterals with organised labour.

State Accountant: Debt and Loss Control — Ref PWI 25/34

Directorate: Finance
Salary: R325 101 per annum (Level 7)
Centre: Bloemfontein

Requirements:

  • BCom Accounting or NQF Level 7 in Finance.
  • 3–4 years post-qualification experience.

Duties:

  • Supervise financial admin practices: compile correspondence to State Attorney, debtors, officials, other departments/entities.

Requirements:
