Purpose: Lead and manage the Housing Projects Department to deliver housing opportunities on time.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Built Environment; valid driver’s licence; 8 years’ management experience (incl. 3 years at senior management); computer literacy.

Purpose: Manage the Research & Policy Section.

Engineering Services Directorate

Purpose: Oversee quality and conformity of designs, installations and repairs for energy systems, refrigerants and conveyors.

Purpose: Manage integrated structural/architectural outputs.

Purpose: Monitor roads and drainage works; read plans; prepare reports and payment docs.
Requirements: Trade-tested Artisan (Building); driver’s licence; 4 years post-apprenticeship; ability to read plans and supervise roadworks.

Purpose: Undertake specialised civil construction work for roads & stormwater.
Requirements: Trade-tested in Civil Construction or equivalent; C1 licence + PrDP; truck-mounted crane competency (or within 6 months); Basic First Aid (within 6 months); 3 years’ post-qualification.
Special: Standby/overtime; all-weather fieldwork.

Purpose: Transport material/equipment/personnel; operate heavy plant.

Waste Management Directorate
