Salary:R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 05, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements

  • A Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in a relevant field recognized by SAQA.
  • Computer literacy is essential.

Added Advantage:

  • A valid driver’s license and/or administrative or clerical experience will serve as an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer social grants at the local office level.
  • Screen and verify grant applications.
  • Capture applications onto the system.
  • Provide customer care and off-site application support.
  • Process grant-related documentation and perform other administration duties.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all applications.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Chapter 6, Part 3.

Employment Equity Preference

  • Port Nolloth Local Office: African Male → Coloured Male → White Male → Indian Male (in order of preference).
  • Kakamas Local Office: African Female → African Male (in order of preference).
