Post 1: Junior Adjudicator

Purpose:
To resolve complaints lodged by the public against financial service providers in an informal, cost-effective, and fair manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse complaints and legal issues to provide informed recommendations
- Draft and submit recommendations and legal opinions
- Research relevant laws (FAIS Act, FSR Act, etc.)
- Mediate disputes and engage stakeholders
- Support case resolution with legal precision and fairness
- Participate in presentations, media engagements, and internal meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- LLB or BComm degree or NQF Level 7 FSCA-approved qualification
- 2 years’ financial services experience in complaints management
- Strong understanding of FAIS Act, FSR Act, TCF, LTIA, PPR, etc.
- Technical knowledge of financial advisory services and regulation
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Fluent in English and at least one other official language
Preferred:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
- Knowledge of Microsoft CRM system
Post 2: Case Administrator

Purpose:
To support the efficient registration and processing of complaints and provide administrative and client care support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register new complaints
- Assess and confirm jurisdiction under FAIS or FSOS Acts
- Guide complainants and refer out-of-jurisdiction cases appropriately
- Liaise with complainants and financial service providers
- Maintain case documentation and data accuracy
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Business Administration or related field
- 2–3 years’ administrative experience in a similar environment
- Understanding of FAIS Act and related legislation
Skills & Attributes:
- Good administrative and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and computer literate
- Able to manage confidential information
- Fluent in at least two official languages
- Self-starter with a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility
