Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Psychology, Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years’ experience in Higher Education, with 5 years in Senior Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Student Support Services.
  • Demonstrated leadership in student wellness and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee divisions such as Student Accommodation, Counselling, Life and Governance, Sport, HIV/AIDS Unit, and Campus Clinics.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership aligned with VUT’s 2033+ Strategy.
  • Ensure inclusive governance, stakeholder management, budgeting, and resource optimization.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Technology Management, or Business Administration.
  • 8–10 years’ experience in Higher Education; 5 years in a senior leadership role in tech transfer or innovation.
  • Deep understanding of IP law, licensing, and commercialisation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement TTI strategy in line with institutional priorities.
  • Foster innovation and drive commercialisation of research outputs.
  • Lead partnerships with industry, academia, and investors.
  • Manage TTI budgets, human capital, and strategic initiatives.
