Available Positions

Handyman (x2 Posts)

  • Pretoria Campus – Ref No: TNC/PC/25 – 10/1
  • Temba Campus – Ref No: TNC/TC/25 – 10/2

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance tasks such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and air conditioning.
  • Ability to perform routine repair and upkeep tasks independently.
  • Experience managing key control and coordinating with on-site security personnel.
  • Must be available on campus 24/7 and able to respond to risks and emergencies.
  • Knowledge of safety inspections and facility maintenance standards.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and during college events.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in gardening, landscaping, or cleaning will be an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Duties:

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, fences, and doors.
  • Identify and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
  • Secure and unlock offices, workshops, and classrooms as required.
  • Manage key allocation and safekeeping.
  • Fix broken windows, doors, leaks, ceilings, and ablution facilities.
  • Maintain campus grounds through gardening, landscaping, and cleaning.
  • Review and record security incidents; report risks to management.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
  • Attend meetings and assist with additional tasks as delegated.
  • Participate in continuous training and development.
