Post Title: Interpretive Officer (Paterson Grade B4)
Salary Range: R154,678.93 – R217,305.38 per annum

Requirements:
- Diploma in Nature Conservation, Social Science, Education or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in environmental interpretation and education
- Knowledge of Cultural Heritage Resource Management
- Fluent in Afrikaans (essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license (PDP is an advantage)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Advantageous: Experience in community development
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and present environmental education programmes
- Promote the park’s image to a variety of users
- Maintain relationships with surrounding communities
- Conduct exhibitions, guided activities, and outreach programmes
- Compile statistics and prepare reports
- Disseminate information to local communities and park visitors
- Support general SET Department administration
- Maintain the Environmental Education Centre
- Assist in heritage resource management
- Other related duties as assigned
