Post Title: Head Chef (2 Positions) – IRC6995

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
  • National Diploma in Professional Cookery or related (NQF Level 6)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in professional cookery
  • 3 years’ experience as Head Chef or similar role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu planning and costing
  • Ordering and stock control
  • Implementing health and safety standards
  • Supervising staff and maintaining kitchen equipment

Competencies:

  • Culinary knowledge, food safety, team supervision
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • High computer literacy (Microsoft Suite)
  • Ability to work long and flexible hours

Post Title: Catering Controller – IRC6996

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
  • National Diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement or related (NQF Level 6)
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (2 years in a supervisory role)
  • Hospitality industry experience is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory and stock management
  • Purchasing catering goods and services
  • Catering systems and POS support
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Staff supervision

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills
  • Knowledge of procurement, inventory, and POS systems
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability
  • Leadership, adaptability, and innovation
