1. Administration Clerk (DCRS) – Durban

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF 4).
- A 3-year relevant qualification (NQF 6, 360 credits) and valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

- Digital recording processes (system tests, recording equipment, fault reports).
- Court proceedings and digital/manual filing systems.
- Skills: MS Office, good communication, teamwork, planning and customer service.
Key Duties
- Provide administrative support in pre-recording of court proceedings.
- Proper recording and playback of court proceedings.
- Collect and compile statistics.
- General court administration support to the Court Manager / Registrar / Supervisor.

- Type court orders, judgments, appeals, reviews, memorandums, reports and minutes.
- Sort and distribute files, compile term rolls, week rolls and motion rolls.

- Perform access control: screen visitors, issue permits, prevent unauthorised entry and dangerous objects.
- Control movement of equipment, stores and documents; maintain registers.
- Operate control room / CCTV, monitor alarms, record incidents.

Common Duties
- Provide general handyman services at the court:
- Relocate office equipment and coordinate removal of damaged items.
- Fit and fix doors, locks, globes, plugs; unblock toilets, basins and drains.
- Minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical and building repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Oversee quality of office equipment delivered.
- Report breakages and support landlord/contractors during repairs.
- Conduct routine building inspections and keep records of all maintenance.
