Post Title: Employee Health and Wellness Practitioner (SL 7)

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, B-Psychology, or BA in Social Work with Psychology
  • 2–3 years practical experience in Employee Health and Wellness
  • Knowledge of the EHW Integrated Strategic Framework in the Public Service
  • Expertise in the four EHW pillars, counselling, psycho-education, trauma debriefing
  • Knowledge of PILLIR processes and the COID Act
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Duties:

  • Administer and implement the Employee Health and Wellness Programme
  • Conduct counselling, trauma debriefing, and wellness interventions
  • Monitor and evaluate EHW programmes and generate reports
  • Manage cases and provide guidance on EHW matters
  • Coordinate wellness events (HIV/AIDS awareness, Wellness Days)
  • Analyse sick leave trends and manage injury on duty administration
  • Compile and submit internal/external memoranda and EHW reports

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • National Diploma in Human Resource Management/Development (NQF Level 6)
  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR development environment
  • Knowledge of training coordination, PMDS, IQMS, and Employment Equity Act
  • Planning, organizing, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license (advantageous)

Duties:

  • Implement training and development programmes
  • Assist in developing the Work Skills Plan and processing bursaries
  • Coordinate Performance Management and Quality Management Systems
  • Facilitate job description development and Employment Equity Plan
  • Support HR development initiatives across the college
