Matzikama Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety, is offering an exciting Peace Officer Training Programme for unemployed youth. This accredited 30-day course will equip participants with essential law enforcement skills, followed by a 12-month EPWP contract upon successful completion.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Aged between 20 – 35 years
- Must reside within the greater Matzikama area
- Clear criminal record (proof required)
- Valid South African ID book or card
- Must be physically fit and drug-free (random drug tests will be conducted)
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a diagnostic test by Cape Town Metro Police Training Department

- Cover letter
- Certified copies of qualifications and ID document
- Completed Consent Form
- Proof of criminal record clearance or proof of application
- Stamped vetting certificate from SAPS (or proof of application)
