Hospitality Lecturer (6-Month Contract – Substitute Lecturer)
- Reference Number: KHC2025/04/CEN01
- Salary: R270,498 per annum (pro-rata for contract duration)

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- Recognized three-year Diploma or Degree in Hospitality
- Teaching Qualification
- SACE Registration
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
- Computer literacy
Added Advantages:
- Assessor and Moderator certifications
- TVET College sector experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent knowledge of the subject area
- Good record-keeping and classroom management skills
Duties:
- Teach NCV Level 2-4 and Report 191 (N4-N6) Hospitality subjects (theory and practical)
- Prepare lesson plans, produce teaching materials, and maintain accurate attendance registers
- Set, mark, and assess tests, assignments, and exams
- Provide student feedback and maintain assessment records according to ICASS and College Assessment policies
- Manage teaching resources such as textbooks, PPEs, equipment, and consumables
- Participate actively in campus meetings, assessments, moderation, and invigilation duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in hospitality
