Available Position

Manager: Supply Chain

Total Annual Package: R1,238,070.81 โ€“ R1,454,556.46 (Negotiable)
Purpose: To plan, develop, optimize, organize, manage, and evaluate the supply chain processes within GEP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery.
  • Evaluate and implement new supply chain processes.
  • Align SCM with business strategies and compliance frameworks.
  • Submit SCM reports monthly and manage UIFW registers accurately.
  • Coordinate supply chain management with finance, sales, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SCM policies and government regulations.
  • Lead and develop the SCM team with strategic oversight and performance management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing Management, or a related field (NQF 7).
  • Minimum 4โ€“6 yearsโ€™ experience in supply chain management.
  • 1โ€“2 years of management experience.
  • Experience in government or parastatal environments is essential.
  • Valid Code EB driver’s license.

Competencies:

  • Strong risk and relationship management.
  • Results-driven with integrity and analytical thinking.
  • Strategic planning and environmental scanning abilities.
