Remuneration: Market-related (based on qualifications and experience)
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Postgraduate Degree in Management (HR, Public Management, Industrial Psychology, etc.)
- Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Business Leadership (MBL)
- Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience, with 3 years at senior management level
Key Competencies:
- Understanding of corporate governance, HR legislation, performance and risk management frameworks
- Experience in enterprise risk, ICT strategy, legal compliance, records management, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong strategic planning and leadership ability
- In-depth knowledge of public financial management and corporate support services
- Experience with organisational culture, employee wellness, SHEQ systems, and ISO compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional leadership to the Corporate Affairs Business Unit
- Develop and align strategic policies and operational plans across HR, Legal, ICT, SHEQ, Communications, and Records Management
- Manage enterprise-wide risk and ensure compliance with public sector governance standards
- Oversee stakeholder and labour engagement to foster organisational stability and growth
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of ICT and communication strategies
- Drive legal service provision and manage litigation risk
- Lead internal SHEQ management, compliance audits, and ISO certification processes
- Maintain effective budget control and business process monitoring
- Champion transformation, staff development, and organisational excellence
