1. Gaming Control Officer (x2 Posts)

Requirements
- Relevant National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in ICT and/or Information Systems Audit
- 2 years’ experience in gambling, compliance, or regulatory environment
- Advanced computer literacy
- A valid Code 8 Driver’s Licence
Competencies & Skills
- Knowledge of applicable legislation (National Gambling Act, POPIA, FIC, Companies Act)
- Ability to detect, investigate and prevent illegal gambling
- Problem-solving and report writing skills
- Conflict resolution and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of ICT auditing, systems testing, and data privacy risks
Key Responsibilities
- Test new or modified gaming systems
- Review betting and gambling internal controls
- Assist in closure of illegal gambling operations
- Conduct ICT/systems audits, compliance reviews, and vulnerability testing
- Monitor online betting channels and industry trends
- Maintain compliance records and statistical analysis
2. Junior Auditor (x1 Post)

- National Diploma in Internal Audit / BCom Degree (Auditing & Accounting as major subjects)
- 2 years’ experience in Gambling, Regulatory, or Auditing environment
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence

- Knowledge of relevant legislation and auditing standards
- Report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Stakeholder management
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance and revenue audits for gambling site operators and bookmakers
- Review annual financial statements and quarterly licensee reports
- Maintain registers for compliance findings and tax under/over payments
- Perform reconciliations of annual fees, employees, devices, and licensees
- Recommend updates to audit programs and maintain working papers
