Director: Water Services Regulation (Ref No: 270226/01)

Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Science or equivalent
- Five years’ experience at middle or senior managerial level in water services
- Valid driver’s licence
- Knowledge of water services strategy, policy development and implementation
- Understanding of Water Act, PFMA and related legislation
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with drinking water and wastewater norms and standards
- Implement Blue Drop and Green Drop programmes
- Regulate municipal water use efficiency (No Drop Programme)
- Conduct technical inspections of water and wastewater plants
- Lead financial, HR and operational planning
