Post: Training Facilitator – Welding
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate welding training on-site and off-site.
- Develop learning materials and conduct assessments.
- Monitor training programmes, ensure learner discipline, and mentor learners.
- Facilitate workplace placements and engage with host employers.
- Maintain workshop standards and health & safety compliance.
- Report on training progress and oversee training strategy implementation.
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: NQF Level 5 in Training and Development.
- Trade Test Certificate in Welding (essential).
- Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator Certification with valid SETA registration.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Welding Facilitator and 5 years’ post-trade industry experience.
Key Competencies:
- Deep understanding of SAQA and SETA regulatory training requirements.
- Proficient in learning material development, reporting, and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and training skills.
- Knowledge of CNC machines will be an added advantage.
